Your participation in the Stockspot Invite Programme is subject to the following terms and conditions:
Through the Stockspot Invite Programme, you will invite friends to sign-up for a Stockspot account by sending them an invitation via the Stockspot website or sharing your invite code, and your efforts in inviting friends to Stockspot will be limited to this activity.
For each "Qualifying New Account" we will waive the MDA investment fees on $5,000 of your portfolio for 12 months. We will also waive the MDA investment fees on $5,000 of your friend’s portfolio for 12 months. The indirect ETF management costs are not part of this offer. To become a "Qualifying New Account", the applicant must not already have a Stockspot account and be eligible and approved by us to use the Stockspot service according to the MDA Agreement. A "Qualifying New Account" is a new Individual, Joint or Trust (including SMSF) Stockspot account opened by your Stockspot invited friend either with the email address you provided or using your invite code, that your invited friend funds with an initial deposit of at least $2,000 and does not withdraw that initial deposit for 90 days.
Stockspot is not responsible for incorrect entry or other failure on the part of your invitees to meet standards of a Qualifying New Account. This promotion is not valid with any other offers and is non-transferrable. Stockspot reserves the right to terminate this offer at any time and to refuse or recover any promotion award if Stockspot determines that it was obtained under wrongful or fraudulent circumstances, that inaccurate or incomplete information was provided in opening the account, or that any terms of the Stockspot Agreements have been violated.
The amount of fees eligible to be waived is limited to your total annual investment fee payable to us (i.e. we can't refund more than you're paying). You agree that your participation in the Stockspot Invite Programme will conform to the terms contained herein as well as the relevant laws of Australia.
Fee saving example:
Inviter-
You have a $35,000 Stockspot portfolio and you invite 5 friends who all invest with Stockspot. Your fee saving will be approximately $198 over the 12 months assuming you are in the Silver fee tier.
Invitee-
You are invited to join Stockspot and meet the standards of a Qualifying New Account. For your first 12 months you won't be charged any management fees on $5,000 of your portfolio.
Your Stockspot invite code should only be used for personal and non-commercial purposes, and only shared with personal connections that will appreciate receiving these invitations. Invite codes should not be published or distributed where there is no reasonable basis for believing that all or most of the recipients are personal friends (such as coupon websites, Reddit, or Wikipedia).
