Mercer Super has expanded significantly in recent years, particularly following its acquisition of BT Super from Westpac. This merger nearly doubled Mercer Super's funds under management.

Mercer Super’s MySuper SmartPath investment option has a historic 1 year investment performance of 12.3%, and a 5 year return of 6.8% p.a. (for the largest cohort of the SmartPath product).

Mercer Super does not pay a super retirement bonus.

Retirement bonuses are paid by super funds once a member reaches retirement.
